Photography is an art, crafted to the highest standards from beginning to end!
Apart from my burning passion for photography; I love food, travel, sport, and movies. Oh, and a little dog named Archie.
My passion for photography started about 8 years of age, when I discovered an old family camera. I’ve a mountain of black and white photographs. I have prints from my teenage years, and from leaving school. Thankfully I took lots of pictures of my children too. I’m very proud of those prints. They are memories and a history of years passed. This is what I’m creating for my customers, a snapshot in time, historical moments, which can be treasured forever!
I’d always been a hobbyist photographer. I never thought, that one day I’d turn my love of photography, into a passionate and rewarding job!
I had specialised in Family and Children Photography for many years. I had never thought about wedding photography! One day, during a Couple’s photoshoot, I was asked if I would photograph their wedding too. They wanted me, for their wedding? It was an absolute pleasure for me to be their official photographer, even though I was so very, very nervous on the day. Getting it right, and not messing up, was obviously at the forefront of my thoughts, along with the excitement of the day. I loved every minute of it. That’s when my love for Wedding Photography began. I photographed a friend’s wedding soon after, and I was totally hooked.
Since then I have worked, and studied very hard within the wedding photography industry. It’s a never ending journey, as each couple, and wedding is different. There’s always something new to learn. Photographing a wedding, or any genre, is an art form. It’s why it’s so addictive. I hope that many Brides and Grooms to be, will feel my passion, and love of what I do, and allow me to become their offical wedding photographer.
